"i was at a pretty rough point in my life, questioning myself and the relationships i had, and how i affected them. i had trouble finding some sort of ground, and i didnt know if what i was telling myself was part of the truth of reality or if it was fabrications i was making up. that was one main idea i wanted to convey; floating around, and not knowing which way is down per se. of my energy into music would be a good idea. fortunately i ended up making something good enough to get a bit of traction."

The pair described it as \"a soundtrack for tending rooftop gardens by moonlight\". I was immediately immersed in the album from my first listen. Often guitar or piano-led pieces, the album marries folk and ambient music in such a gentle and whimsical way, it feels like somehow listening to the most beautiful memories of a cowboy traveling the wild west. Upon my first listen, I immediately felt a connection to my home back on the Texas plains, imagining a quiet night sitting in an open field, lit by a sky full of stars, the grass gently blowing in the breeze. More than anything, I felt this release did that magically special thing that music can sometimes do: take you, for a moment, away from reality, and into a place that makes you appreciate your own experience and the world around you in a new way. What a beautiful feeling to close your eyes and let your imagination take you to some place deeply embedded in your memories - or perhaps your dreams.
