"In 'Capricorn Sun', the esteemed Larry Wish performs a hyper-orchestral set of pops, situations, and eerily bizarre pseudo-classical music. Wish, dressed as the character Composer Head, , which combines a naval theme, operatic panache, and magical elegance with digital music production, enters the harbor with a majestic stride. It precludes this kind of providential elegance because it feels like plasticine synthesizer swells, cartoonish candy sound design, pounding snare drum raps, and raspy string sections. paints the bay in bright, unnatural hues.This album features head composer Larry Wish's new songs that are wild, absurd, and hilarious."

"On Capricorn Sun, the esteemed Larry Wish presents a hyper-orchestral set of pomps, circumstances, and uncanny bizarro quasi-classical music. Channeling a character, Composerhead, Wish enters the harbor with a lordly gait, amalgamating digital music production with all the bells and whistles of naval themes, operatic swagger proceedings, and magisterial elegance. Though Capricorn Sun eschews the elegance of such providence as everything feels warbled by the waves; swells of plasticine synthesizers, cartoony candy sound design, tattering snare drum raps, and gurgly string sections paint the bay in vivid and unnatural hues. Decidedly maritime, and so grandiose in a sort of tongue-and-cheek way, this album showcases Larry Wish as Composerhead performing a riotous, absurd, and also delightful collection of new music for fans of the briny beyond."
